FAQ

Ratings & sizing

What current rating do I need?

Size for continuous load, not peak. A 150A bus bar covers most van and RV distribution panels; ANL fuses handle main feeds at 80A–300A. Choose a rating 20–30% above your expected continuous draw — and never above the ampacity of the cable it protects.

Can I use these on a 48V system?

Yes — the bus bar housing is rated 48VDC / 300VAC.

Materials & fitment

Are the terminals brass or plated?

Solid brass terminals; the ANL studs are gold-plated for conductivity and corrosion resistance.

Will they fit standard M8 lugs?

Yes, M8 studs and terminals take standard ring terminals.

Kits & installation

Do the ANL holders come with fuses?

The kit ships as a 3-pack with fuses in the selected rating.

Can I mount them in a wet location?

They are designed for engine bays and marine compartments; seal and fuse to ABYC / ISO practice.
